Trained as a multimedia journalist, Catherine Clark is the managing editor of Pecan South magazine, the pecan industry’s leading publication. Since starting with Pecan South in the summer of 2017, Catherine has led the magazine’s redesign and developed its digital presence.
In 2020 and 2021, Catherine collaborated with her team to create and publish two annual special editions—Nuez Sureña and Pieces of Pecan. These magazines expanded Pecan South’s audience, provided readers with new resources for their businesses, and increased annual revenue by $13k in 2021 alone.
Born and raised in Texas, Catherine began her professional career in San Antonio. In 2016, she graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Communication and Spanish from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She then moved to sunny Los Angeles, where she finished her studies and received her Master’s in Journalism from the University of Southern California.
With a few years under her belt, she continues her career as an editor and a journalist. Catherine enjoys being outdoors and has an undying love for all things Texas. She’s looking forward to new opportunities.
